On the Theoretical and System Crisis of Contemporary Capitalism

Abstract: Economic crisis is an accompaniment of the capitalist system. Capitalist economic crisis is not only the crisis of capitalist economic theory, but also the crisis of capitalist economic system. The frequent periodic outbreak of the capitalist economic crisis not only makes the Western capitalist economic theory lose confidence, but also makes the Western capitalist economic system lose confidence. The capitalist governments have taken a series of treatment or prevention measures in response to the crises, but these measures are only temporary and cannot solve problems permanently. To thoroughly cure the capitalist economic crisis, the capitalist system must be eliminated.
